OUR MISSION
A community-based response to homelessness — since 2003.
We provide a safe and welcoming space for people experiencing homelessness, offering compassionate support and practical assistance to help people move through difficult seasons of life — with dignity.

Hot, nourishing meals served in a welcoming space — often the most important meal of someone's day.
Day Center Support
A safe place to rest, warm up or cool down, have a cup of coffee, and be treated like a neighbor.
Case Management
One-on-one support to set goals, navigate paperwork, and take real steps toward stability.
Health Referrals
Connections to medical, dental, and mental health care through trusted local partners.
Shelter Coordination
Help finding and securing overnight shelter through our partner network across Oakland County.
Collaborative Care
We work alongside churches, agencies, and community partners so no one falls through the cracks.

VOLUNTEER
The Welcome Inn runs on neighbors like you.
No special skills required — just a little time and a warm heart. Volunteers serve meals, welcome guests, sort donations, support events, and help our community show up for its most vulnerable members.
Serve Meals
Help prepare and serve breakfast or lunch for our guests.
Hospitality
Greet guests, pour coffee, and help the day center feel like a welcome inn.
Sort Donations
Organize clothing, supplies, and food so help gets where it's needed.
Events & Outreach
Lend a hand at fundraisers and represent SOCH in the community.
