The Welcome Inn Day Center is a low-barrier day center — you don’t need ID, a referral, or an appointment to walk through our doors. Come as you are.

OUR MISSION

A community-based response to homelessness — since 2003.

We provide a safe and welcoming space for people experiencing homelessness, offering compassionate support and practical assistance to help people move through difficult seasons of life — with dignity.

Health Referrals

Connections to medical, dental, and mental health care through trusted local partners.

Shelter Coordination

Help finding and securing overnight shelter through our partner network across Oakland County.

Collaborative Care

We work alongside churches, agencies, and community partners so no one falls through the cracks.

No special skills required — just a little time and a warm heart. Volunteers serve meals, welcome guests, sort donations, support events, and help our community show up for its most vulnerable members.

Organize clothing, supplies, and food so help gets where it's needed.
