Who we are. South Oakland Citizens for the Homeless (“SOCH,” “we”) operates the Welcome Inn Day Center at 1717 W. 13 Mile Rd., Royal Oak, MI 48073, and this website.

Information we collect. When you use our contact, volunteer, or sponsor forms, we collect the information you provide (such as name, email, and phone) solely to respond to you. Our website host may collect standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and performance.

How we use it. We use your information only to respond to inquiries, coordinate volunteering and donations, and share updates you’ve asked for. We never sell or rent personal information.

Donations. Online gifts are processed by third parties (PayPal, Venmo, Zeffy, Amazon, Kroger). Your payment details are handled by those services under their own privacy policies — we do not store card or bank information.

Guest privacy. We are deeply committed to the privacy and dignity of our guests. We do not publish identifying information or photos of guests without consent.
