WHAT WE PROVIDE

Our Services

Practical, dignified support for people experiencing homelessness in South Oakland County — all under one roof at the Welcome Inn Day Center.

Homelessness is rarely one problem — it’s a tangle of many. That’s why the Welcome Inn brings meals, rest, case management, health connections, and shelter coordination together in one trusted place, and works hand-in-hand with partners across Oakland County.

Warm Meals

Hot, nourishing meals served daily in a welcoming dining space. For many guests, a hot meal and a cup of coffee is the steady anchor that everything else builds on. Food donations from neighbors, churches, and businesses keep this program going.

Day Center Support

A safe, low-barrier space to rest, escape extreme weather, use facilities, and be treated with respect. No ID, referral, or appointment needed — everyone is welcome.

Case Management

Our case managers meet guests where they are, helping with identification documents, benefit applications, housing paperwork, employment steps, and personal goals — at each person’s own pace.

Health Referrals

We connect guests with trusted local providers for medical, dental, vision, and mental health care, and help remove the barriers — transportation, paperwork, follow-up — that often stand in the way.

Shelter Coordination

Welcome Inn works closely with overnight shelters and Oakland County’s coordinated entry system to help guests find a safe place to sleep, especially during winter’s harshest months.

Community Resources

We maintain current lists of food pantries, clothing closets, recovery programs, and support services across the county — and help guests actually connect with them.

Collaborative Care

No single organization can end homelessness alone. We partner with churches, nonprofits, county agencies, and local businesses so that care is coordinated and no one falls through the cracks.

These services exist because people like you make them possible.
