OUR FLAGSHIP PROGRAM
The Welcome Inn Day Center
More than a building — a community living room where every guest is treated like a neighbor, because that’s exactly what they are.
A welcome inn, in the truest sense
Since 2003,
South Oakland Citizens for the Homeless has operated the Welcome Inn Day Center at 1717 W. 13 Mile Rd. in Royal Oak.
What started as neighbors responding to neighbors has grown into the heart of South Oakland County’s response to homelessness — a place where guests find warm meals, rest, practical help, and genuine relationships.
During winter’s harshest months, more than 80% of Oakland County’s chronically homeless adults receive care here.
